Cheese restriction in Paris airports
One more thing that you can't carry in a plane is restricted in France. Beside liquid you can't take with you SOFT CHEESE.
Such were the instructions being given to passengers leaving France Monday as new EU-wide restrictions on liquids and soft products came into effect to prevent terrorists smuggling explosives on planes.

According to detailed advice given by the Aeroports de Paris managing company that runs the capital's airports, some of France's most favoured comestibles have fallen foul of the new rules.
Company website - "As a general rule, any malleable product is forbidden."

"For example, a soft cheese, like camembert is not allowed in the cabin, but hard cheese, like gruyere is allowed. Another example - foie gras is not allowed."
But a solution was at hand for passengers who absolutely felt they could not endure a flight without tucking into some French delicacies that tended to the soggy.
New rules apply only to products packed before the security checks. All duty free purchases at the airports - camembert and canned foie gras included - can be taken on board without a problem.
