Sentence for shooter of songwriter Marc Khon
Man who shot and injured singer songwriter Marc Cohn during a botched carjacking has been sentenced to 36 years in jail.
Joseph Yacteen, pleaded guilty to attempted first degree murder in August 2005 after firing a gun into Cohn's van following a concert in Denver, US.

Cohn, who won a Grammy for his hit song Walking In Memphis in 1991, was struck by a bullet which lodged in his temple.
Cohn's driver and manager Thomas Dube was also injured.
Doctors were able to successfully remove the bullet from Cohn's temple, avoiding any long-term damage.

Other charges against Yacteen, including attempted aggravated burglary and first-degree trespass, were dropped by the prosecution.
He attempted to steal the musician's van and was later found in a vacant house where he was forced out by police with tear gas after a six-hour stand-off.
Cohn spoke about his ordeal on US television, saying: "I touched myself and it was blood all over my hands, and my clothes.
"And I realised I was the one who'd been hit. Every second that passed by, I thought, 'That's the last one. That's the last second I'll be here.'"
